[Thou] leathern-jerkin, crystal-button, knot-pated, agatering, puke-stocking, caddis-garter, smooth-tongue, Spanish pouch!

(Taken from: Henry IV, part I)

Nothing personal mind you.

As a classroom teacher I always taught Elizabethan Insults.

There are many great resources for Shakespearean insults on the web.

Thanks for reminding me of a classy way to vent my spleen.

Peace, good pintpot, peace, good tickle-brain.

David, I can't resist a good librarian blog!

I've been working with Library Media specialists since the turn of the century (more or less) via my work at the 21st Century Information Fluency Project, now morphed into http://21cif.com

Check it out. We're launching an online performance assessment of information fluency with a special preview.
